Tradeweld Nickel Cast 99 Cast iron 99% 1kg (120-150amps 4.0MM)

A basic, graphite coated electrode for the repair & maintenance of a wide range of cast iron components. It produces a soft stable arc with minimal penentration and splatter. It is very tolerant to parent metal contaminants such as oil and dirt. The ductile Nickel based weld deposit is readily machinable with good colour match to most castirons. Applications of the Tradecast 99 include the repair and reclamatiion of engine blocks, cylinder heads, differential hoisings, gearbox, pump and machine housings @ pully etc. In some applications Tradecast 99 has a good "wetting" action due to the high nicket weld deposit.
